There's no policy in my company regarding external storage, there are no blockers like waterwall or encription programs and USB drives are allowed. I unlocked my drive and activated auto unlock and everthing seemed to work fine until I unplugged my drive. The thing is, after waiting for 1 week IT finally came to the rescue and granted me access to my passport. On my first day there My passport asks me for Administrator rights to run WD unlocker.

My new company's laptop has standard user rights. I own a passport in which I store my day to day tools (mostly advanced spread sheets).
